Indonesia participated in the oldest and largest travel trade fair in the Baltic countries, Tourest Travel Trade Fair, 9 – 11 February 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia. The participation was a join cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Helsinki.
2 (two) tour operators and 1 (one) resort participated in the Wonderful Indonesia booth. Tourest 2018 was officially open by Urve Palo, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology of Estonia.
in Tourest 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Helsinki, supported the participation by promoting Indonesian traditional culture through traditional dances performance at the main stage of the fair. Puspanjali dance from Bali, Tor Tor dance from North Sumatra and Bajidor Kahot dance from West Java was performed by Indonesian Community in Finland. The Indonesian Community in Estonia astound the visitors of the fair by performing Pencak Silat, a traditional martial art from Indonesia. the Pencak Silat performance was also supported by Estonian Pencak Silat Federation (EPSF).
