The Minister for Foreign Affairs Conveyed the Reflection of 2017 RI Diplomacy
The support for humanitarian issues and efforts to create world peace are two prominent elements of Indonesian diplomacy. The reflection on the implementation of diplomacy throughout 2017 was conveyed by the Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi in her speech to 2008 Annual Press Statement of the Minister for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office, Jakarta (9/1/2018).
The clear, firm and consistent attitude of Indonesia on Palestine, including the status of Jerusalem, is the embodiment of RI diplomatic support.
“Indonesia’s diplomacy shall continue to strive for Palestine for humanity and for justice” said the Foreign Minister Retno.
Indonesia’s support for Palestine, she added, is not only in the form of political support, but also economic support and technical cooperation. The support was also rendered by Indonesia to Afghanistan and Rakhine State, Myanmar.
